Perivoli is an old village of 1.400 residents which preserves unchanged its traditional identity. The specific island architecture of the place is the characteristic feature of the area with the stonebuilt houses with their own local colour, the narrow roads (the famous kantounia in the local dialect) and the exceptional beauty churches, like Agioi Saranta and the famous church of Pantokratora in a beautiful overgrown area full of olive groves.
